-Freight and Delivery
Freight is a hidden cost in every shippable product. We try to reduce and even eliminate this cost by offering free ground shipping on purchases over 50 US dollars and using different fullfilment centers when applicable, which could also result in shorter delivery times. ( On the contrary, many purchases on Internet are charged freight plus a surcharge hidden to the customer, while portraying lower item costs. These costs may not be returned to the customer upon a return and customers might even have to pay a second freight to return the items.)
we also offer our customers additional savings through quantity and gross volume discounts mentioned on our discounts page. Most items on our website would be shipped within 1-3 business days unless otherwise specified. Custom made products to customer's specifications will take 5-15 business days unless otherwise specified. Although we try to process and ship each order as early as the same business day the order is placed, since the number of quantity ordered per item and the variety of items and the destination address of each customer are unique, in order to fulfill the order, we may use different centers. In which case, the customer may not receive the entire order at same time. This also applies if we could ship a part of the order immediately, and the rest within the alloted time. however, the customer will never pay extra freight nor any freight beyond what was specified at the time of purchase. On rare occasions, an ordered item/s can become unavailable or must be backordered. In this case, we will refund the customer the price paid for the item/s including shipping costs if any within 3-5 business days or backorder the item/s with the estimated delivery time if the item/s can be backordered at customer's request.
-Payments and Verification
We are a verified Authorize.net merchant, and we use AVS, CVS, and various methods and filters to protect our customers and our organization against fraud. After the authorization or capture of an order, if there is a discrepancy as to billing or shipping address or other matters and not verified and validated by the customer, we reserve the right to refund the entire amount of the purchase to the customer. We ask our customers to please respond to our inquiry, in case of such incident promptly, so that it would not delay the shippment process.

-Cancellations, Returns, Receipt of products
There is a short window of time if any, after the order is placed via internet for most merchants and thus the customer, to cancel an order. Subsequently, the order can not be processed promptly if it had a window of time to be cancelled. We will cancel an order if the order has not been processed when we receive the customer's request. However, there could be as much as zero to 24 hours to do so following the receipt of an order.
Upon delivery of customer's package/s by the carrier (shipping company), in case of a damage, the delivery must be refused and noted as such: "the product is damaged" or the customer must note as such on the proof of delivery before signature is rendered ( if customer still wishes to accept the product.) However, the order can not be refused if it is not damaged nor defective.
In case a product is defective, we reserve the right to replace that product at no cost to the customer or issue a full refund within 5 business days after the receipt of such product by us (including shipping charges if any.) We will issue a RMA and instructions for the product to be picked up if necessary.
In the event that the product is damaged by the carrier and the customer has accepted the product according to the facts above, the customer needs to process a claim with the carrier, which in most cases the customer will be reimberced by them in full or partial if accepted by both parties. Nonetheless, if a compromise is not reached and if we conclude that the customer's claim is accurate, we will replace/ reship that product to the customer at no cost including no freight charges. In this case the customer needs to release all interests in such claim to our company.
At hotbuy.com , we undertake utmost measures to ensure the quality of our products, however, the warranty on the products are limited to the manufacturer's warranty if applicable. Any additional warranty (specially on electronics) must be stated at the time of purchase or will be limited to manufacturer's warranty if applicable.
Except as mentioned above, we do not accept any returns for any products. Customer must allow a few business days following a refund to be processed by customer's bank. furtheremore, customer must not pay for any shipping charges unless authorized by us for a refund. We reserve the right to change said policies at any time.
